Fun in the Sun

We took little man out on his very first boating trip this weekend. We had friends in town, with their 11 month old Lilly, to join in on the fun. We were pretty excited when we found out that they made infant life vests, and did Landon ever look cute when we finally got him all strapped into it! I was worried that he was going to be miserable and fuss the whole time it was on, but we quickly realized that both babies liked the cozy fit and great head support. Between the breeze, rocking motion of the boat, and fit of the vest both babies spent most of the afternoon napping. But we also learned, late in the afternoon, that the sun can be tricky and poor Bubba ended up with some pretty red cheeks because of it! All in all, it was a great afternoon and now that we know how to beat the sun, we are looking forward to the next trip!
